Track-POD is well-known for its in-depth proof of delivery features, but it has limitations and doesn't suit all courier management needs.
Our guide reviews 7 Track-POD alternatives.
We look at how they perform across the key features (live route editing, client visibility, and proof of delivery) and break down their pricing (current as of October, 2026). All sourced directly from vendors' own pages and review sites, not recycled from third-party comparisons.
Track-POD at a glance: the strengths and weaknesses
Track-POD stands out for its proof-of-delivery features. In addition to customer signature and photo capture, you get geotagging so you know where exactly the parcel was delivered, as well as barcode scanning and custom POD templates.
The tool also supports PIN codes for extra security when delivering high-value items and Cash on Delivery (COD).
Another strength: Client access to the web dashboard, allowing them to add and monitor orders without contacting your dispatchers.
Track-POD is also SOC 2 Type II certified and HIPAA compliant, which matters if you're doing deliveries for medical institutions.
What lets it down?
The biggest issue for many is the limited day-of-delivery in the lower plans. Updating stop sequences requires the Advanced Plus plan, and adding new stops mid-route, the Ultimate plan.
There's also a 3-driver minimum, which won't work for smaller operators, and reviewers mention usability issues and a steep learning curve.
For example, the interface is reportedly cluttered, with no option to customize the dashboard, and new drivers need time to master the new mobile app, whose interface also attracts negative comments.

How does Track-POD pricing work in 2026?
Track-POD uses two pricing models: per driver/user, like OptimoRoute, Upper, Detrack, and per order/task, like Track-POD, Routific, and Onfleet. These are two of the most popular pricing models in last-mile delivery management, the third being per stop, used by Spoke Dispatch.
The pricing model matters as much as the price tag (or more) because different models affect the final bill differently, depending on the size of your operation.
Track-POD per-driver pricing
Track-POD has three per-driver plans:
- Advanced — from $49/driver when billed annually
- Advanced Plus — $69/driver
- Ultimate — $89/driver
The lowest plan caps monthly orders at 6,000, and SMS notifications cost extra on all plans (email and push notifications are included).

The Enterprise plan is quote-only and comes with a 20-driver minimum. As mentioned, the other plans have a 3-driver minimum.
So if you're starting with 1-3 drivers and do 6000 orders a month, that's $147 a month. That's less than most of the tools in the roundup.
The math shifts when you add drivers. At 10 drivers, the bill is up to $490, and at 20, $980, which gets you into the Enterprise ground compared to other tools. And you're still capped at 6000 orders, which may not be enough to keep so many drivers busy.
Track-POD per-order pricing
Under the per-order plans, you pay a fixed fee for a fixed number of orders and an extra fee for every extra order.
- S Plan — $285/month for 1,500 orders, $0.19 per extra order
- M Plan - $510/month for 3,000 orders, $0.17 per extra order
- M Plan - $900/month for 6,000 orders, $0.15 per extra order
- M Plan - $1,440/month for 12,000 orders, $0.12 per extra order
Per-order pricing suits operations with stable delivery numbers but a fluctuating driver headcount.

The 7 best Track-POD alternatives for courier companies
Here's the detailed breakdown of all the Track-POD alternatives' features and pricing.
Spoke Dispatch
Spoke Dispatch (that's us) is last mile management software built for courier operations. It offers per-stop pricing, lets you edit routes after drivers leave, on every plan, and saves you operational headaches (and costs) by letting your clients look up their own orders via its client portal, Spoke Connect.
Route edits after drivers leave
On Spoke Dispatch, you add the stops and can reoptimize routes after the driver leaves the depot, and the affected routes update in the driver app within seconds.
Failed stops move to another driver's run the same way, and dispatchers watch it happen on the live route tracking screen.
Track-POD supports similar functionality, but adding stops mid-route is available only on the Ultimate plan. Spoke Dispatch offers this in all plans.
Pricing that scales with stops
Spoke Dispatch charges for stops delivered. Drivers are unlimited on every plan, and so are dashboard members and depots.
Spoke Dispatch has three pricing plans:
- Starter is $125/month, 1,000 stops included, then 4 cents a stop.
- Premium is $200/month, 2,000 stops, then 6 cents.
- Expert is $1,000/month, 12,000 included, then 7 cents.

Per-stop pricing matters when work volume fluctuates, and you use part-time drivers. This way, you don't pay extra for barely used driver seats during the quiet times. And can hire as many new drivers as you need during busy times without paying for new licenses upfront.
Client visibility and proof of delivery
With Spoke Dispatch, all stops can be tagged per client, so when they query a delivery, you pull the records yourself without calling a driver halfway through a run. Or better yet, they can look it up themselves through Spoke Connect.
Spoke Dispatch's proof-of-delivery app captures signatures, photos, geotags, and timestamps on all three plans. You can customize them for every delivery method or stop, and the driver cannot mark the stop as complete until the mandatory POD is captured (strictness control).
You also get cash on delivery, and for medical courier contracts and other high-value work, the proof-of-custody scans at loading and at handover. So you and your clients always know the parcel location.
Your routes will change after the drivers leave. Try Spoke Dispatch free for 7 days and change them live from your desk.
Onfleet
Onfleet suits established courier operations with the volume to absorb its entry price who want to run client relationships inside the platform.
Onfleet's client portal, Courier Suite, is available as an add-on, and gives your clients their own order entry and tracking details, plus rate cards and client invoicing.
You can add stops to a live route and reassign ones the driver hasn't reached yet, and most details on a stop stay editable after the driver starts it. On the Scale plan, Onfleet slots new work into active routes without a dispatcher touching it (auto-dispatch).
Proof of delivery is thinner than Track-PODs, but Onfleet supports age and ID verification for restricted drops.
Customers praise Onfleet for a simple user interface and easy onboarding.
"The interface is very straightforward, making it easy to get accustomed to. I found it simple to use right from the start." — Isa, C. Coordinator

On the flipside, Onfleet can be slow
"At times, the software can become slow, especially when multiple filters are applied simultaneously, which makes the overall experience less than ideal." — Jimmy, Logistics Specialist
Onfleet's pricing starts at $619 a month for 2,500 tasks with unlimited users, and the Courier Suite is another $299 a month. So that's over $900, which is a serious commitment.
If you're considering Onfleet, our breakdown of Onfleet competitors goes deeper.
OptimoRoute
OptimoRoute fits courier operations that require potent routing features and want to plan routes ahead.
The Weekly Planning feature lets you schedule driver routes weeks in advance rather than a day at a time, and you can record up to 1,000 orders at a time, but it doesn't have such deep POD capabilities (only signatures, photos, and barcodes) or a client portal.
Apart from a clean and fast user interface, reviewers mention the performance of OptimoRoute's optimization engine:
"It makes the most optimized routes (pun intended) versus any other routing software I have tried yet... Anytime I have tried a cheaper routing... the lost time and money in inefficient routes keeps me going back to Optimoroute." Anthony J.S., Executive VP of Operations

Cost and gating basic features are the recurring theme in reviews.
"I do wish some of their features weren't blocked behind higher-tier subscriptions." — Sam M. Operations Manager

OptimoRoute pricing is per driver, so it comes with the same challenges when scaling as Track-POD, but there's no driver minimum, so it works better for 1-2 person operations. Pricing starts from $35.10/driver (Lite), but POD, analytics, weekly planning, and real-time order tracking require the Pro plan ($44.10/driver).
Routific
Routific suits smaller courier operations where simplicity and route planning matter more than client-facing tooling.
Routific gives you a web driver app that requires no installation, and office staff can have a view-only seat so they can answer client questions without the risk they edit the route by mistake. There's no client portal, though.
Apart from its driver app, customers praise Routific's easy route editing and customer support efficiency:
"It is easy to communicate, add or remove stops, add time window, and add priority stop to flag the importance of a particular stop. Customer Support is off the charts!... " — K.B., Logistics Manager

Where it falls short for a courier: there's no client portal, and SMS is quoted separately rather than included. Reviewers have also mentioned inefficient routing optimization:
At times the routing is inefficient, and if we have multiple deliveries to the same address, there is no guarantee they will be combined.
Routific's pricing moved to a per-order model in mid-2024. It's free for up to 100 orders, $150 a month up to 1,000. Proof of delivery and email notifications come with every plan, including the free one.
Detrack
Detrack works for proof-of-delivery-first operations, and it's the closest like-for-like swap on this list.
Detrack matches Track-POD closely on proof of delivery, adds a customizable POD PDF, and keeps the records for five years, where Track-POD holds two. It also doesn't charge for office staff, and has a dedicated app for managers and warehouse staff. You can easily add new stops to live routes, but there's no client portal, so clients can't monitor orders on their own.
Most recent reviews are positive and regularly mention Detrack's ease-of-use and top-notch customer support:
"Detrack is super simple software to both set up and use. Possibly the best support desk I've come across for responses and assistance," says Ian F., a sales director in logistics.

Detrack's main limitation is less-capable routing than in competing tools. The few negative reviews on Capterra mention pricing and gating features in higher plans as downsides:
"Cost per lisence is too expensive. I feel premium options should not be so expensive to also have access to it." — Hendri L. Factory Manager

Pricing starts at $29 per driver a month on Pro, but route optimization sits on the Advanced plan at $39.
Upper
Upper fits small delivery and field service teams that need to plan routes and keep timesheets.
Upper records driver shifts and hours: when drivers clock in, start a route, and clock out, and you can draw zones for drivers to keep out of and set rules for which driver goes to which client. You can edit routes while drivers are en route. However, there's no client portal and the POD features are thinner.
Upper reviewers like the fact that they can easily turn their spreadsheet data into optimized routes:
"Upper allows us to import our Customers/Stops easily with from Excel and then utilize the software to efficiently route our drive. The software verifies the addresses for us." — Andrew V., Administrator

While some reviews mention it's easy to set up, optimize, and modify routes, some mention the editing options are limited:
"My biggest beef with the app is not being able to resort stops when a new stop is added after the route has been saved." — Chris, B., Delivery and Production Support

Mind you, the Upper's latest G2 review is from Jan 2025 and the Capterra ones from October 2024, so it may have changed.
Pricing is per user and starts from $40 per month when billed yearly, and goes up to $48 on Professional and $71 on Optimize, with many features sold as add-ons. For example, real-time tracking for customers is $20 per driver, SMS starts at a cent a text, and barcode scanning is $50 for the company.
eLogii
eLogii is a good fit for mid-market and enterprise courier companies operating at high volume, but is over-specced and too pricey for small businesses.
eLogii recipients reschedule their own delivery and pick a slot, which Track-POD's plans leave to the dispatcher. eLogii also runs multi-brand tracking pages, so a courier working for several retailers can show each one its own branding. Just like in Spoke Dispatch, you set the POD type per delivery, so different goods can demand different evidence.
Customers find it easy to use and praise the support. They also mention POD features and the ability to coordinate multiple drivers across multiple depots and even countries, which you'd expect from an enterprise tool:
"Ability to monitor 6 locations (Depots) in 2 countries is priceless. Accessing PODs makes everyone life easier. Finally ability to create route for your fleet in minutes based on settings that are relevant to your organization and fleet is simple amazing." — Zelimir G., Distribution and Transportation Manager.

A few reviews mention limitations such as not being able to switch on a feature unless another one is on, which makes setup confusing, or not being able to assign vehicles to specific days:
"Can't assign a vehicle for a specific day. If I change the vehicle details it changes the whole history of the vehicle for that route. It is not realistic view for auditing process." — Madara, K. Transport Manager
eLogii now targets field service and distribution operations with 50+ people in the field, and it's reflected in its quote-only pricing. Their own estimator returns "from $1,500 a month", and there's no free trial, so get ready for the Sales calls.
Which alternative fits your operation?
If you need strong proof-of-delivery capabilities and you have a stable driver count (3-7), Track-POD may still be the right option for your courier operation.
If you're handling a low delivery volume and route planning & optimization matters more than client-facing features, Routific is a good fit.
For high-volume operators operating within complex constraints and having the technical support to set it up, eLogii is the best solution.
If your demand and driver count fluctuate and you need a client portal to reduce the time you spend dealing with client queries, Spoke Dispatch is a better choice.

Frequently asked questions
Track-POD's per-driver plans start at $49 per driver per month billed annually ($59 month-to-month), with a minimum of 3 drivers, so the smallest possible subscription is $147 per month. Higher tiers are $69 and $89 per driver per month (annual). SMS notifications are charged separately on every plan.
Yes. Per-order plans start at $285 per month for 1,500 orders, with additional orders at $0.19 each and no limit on drivers. It suits operations whose driver count changes regularly, or where you use part-time drivers but work remains steady.
Track-POD holds a 4.5 rating on G2 and 4.7 on Capterra. Reviewers consistently praise its proof of delivery depth and support responsiveness, and consistently criticize the cluttered interface and the learning curve. It is strongest for proof-of-delivery-heavy B2B work on a small, stable fleet.
If you need a client portal and stop-based pricing, Spoke Dispatch is a better Track-POD alternative. If you're a large operation and need deep customization, eLogii is a better alternative, and if you want route optimization to handle a small volume, choose Routific.
Whether per-driver or per-stop pricing works out cheaper depends on which grows faster, your drivers or your stops. Per-driver pricing is cheaper while your fleet is small and all drivers work at capacity. Per-stop pricing wins once you add drivers who each run moderate volume, or when fleet size changes through the year.
Switching delivery software isn't hard. Spoke Dispatch implementation, including driver and vehicle setup, customer, job, and order record transfer, reconnecting all integrations, and driver training, takes as little as 1-3 days, and you can do it during the free trial while still running your old tool, so you don't have to pay for two tools.
Switching tools with client panels requires additional client onboarding, but this only concerns three tools in the roundup besides Track-POD: Spoke Dispatch, eLogii, and Onfleet's add-on, Courier's Suite.
Track-POD alternatives don't match its proof-of-delivery feature depth. For example, no other tool offers PIN confirmation. Detrack comes close with signature, photo, geotag, and timestamp capture, and Spoke Dispatch adds strictness control and proof-of-custody scanning on top of it.
Four tools let your clients check the delivery status directly, without calling a dispatcher: Track-Pod, Spoke Dispatch's Spoke Connect, Onfleet's Courier Suite add-on, and eLogii. The other four send recipients a tracking link, but your clients can't look up their own orders from one place.
Three of the eight tools here support HIPAA-compliant delivery work: Track-POD, Detrack, and Onfleet.
